A very warm welcome to the website of Gobe Farm. Gobe Farm is a medium sized, family run, Welsh Hill Farm specialising in sheep and cattle. We are located just outside the village of Gladestry on a small side road, a 1/4 of a mile from Offa's Dyke Path and five miles from Kington. We pride ourselves on offering guests in our home a warm welcome, comfortable accommodation and a traditional hearty farm breakfast. Guests are welcome to take an interest in the farm. Indeed, during April and May there are usually orphan lambs on the farm who will be only too happy to relieve you of a bottle of milk! Guests are also welcome to walk our farmland which provides glorious views down onto the village, the surrounding countryside and across to Hergest Ridge. Gladestry itself is a small, pretty village set in the beautiful countryside of the Radnor Hills. The Welsh name is "Llanfair Llythynwg", which translates to St Mary's in the Glen. St Mary's Church dates back to the 13th Century and is well worth a visit. The Offa's Dyke Path passes directly through the village, as does the Radnor Ring Cycle Route, an eighty-four mile cycle ride through some of the finest scenery in East Wales.
